    Role Summary

    The Store & Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of The Tot Café, ensuring a smooth, joyful, and efficient experience for both caregivers and children. This role combines hospitality management with operational oversight and team leadership to support our mission of delivering nutritious, fun, and culturally inclusive food for families.

    • Key Responsibilities

      Customer Experience & Hospitality

      • Cultivate a warm, welcoming environment aligned with our brand values.

      • Ensure high standards in customer service, food quality, and cleanliness.

      • Address customer feedback and resolve concerns quickly and empathetically.

      Operations Management

      • Oversee daily operations including staff scheduling, inventory management, vendor coordination, and facilities upkeep.

      • Monitor food safety, compliance, and quality assurance standards.

      Team Leadership

      • Hire, train, and supervise café staff including teen babysitters and kitchen staff.

      • Foster a culture of inclusivity, equity, and joy among team members.

      • Lead regular team check-ins and ensure staff performance meets expectations.

      Sales & Financials

      • Track and report on daily/weekly/monthly sales.

      • Assist in driving growth via marketing ideas, event coordination, and upselling strategies.

      Community & Brand Integration

      • Support on-site events and partnerships with schools, health providers, and nonprofits.

      • Represent the brand authentically to parents and caregivers.

      Compensation Plan

      Base Pay:

      • $22/hour (approximately $45,760/year for full-time employment)

      Variable Compensation:

      • Monthly Sales Bonus: 2.5% of monthly net sales, payable monthly.

        • Example: $60,000 in monthly sales = $1,500 bonus.

      Quarterly Performance Bonus: Up to $1,000 based on scorecard performance.

    We are looking for a retail associate who enjoys working with customers selling and promoting baby care and feeding products. The retail associate position will assist customers by providing recommendations, answering questions, alerting customers to product options and expanding sales revenues. The ideal candidate for this position has experience working in retail or restaurants and has a strong dedication to providing exceptional service for customers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet and assist customers as they shop within a store.

    • Answer questions related to the merchandise and store policies and locate items.

    • Process payments and keep the sales floor tidy and well-stocked.

    • Assist in maintaining the back-stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor.

    • Capture fun Instagram moments within the store with customers to share on companies’ social channels.

    • Help promote our products on social media.

    • Utilize the company’s POS system to handle customer purchases.

    • Collaborate with team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • *EEC experience is preferred but not required

    • High School diploma/GED recommended but not required for the right candidate

    • 2+ years’ customer service industry experience recommended but not required for the right candidate

    • Ability to work well on a team required

    • Must be able to work weekends and holidays

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Compensation:

    • $20 per hour

    Qualifications:

  • Kids Cooking Class Instructor (4-6 hours/ week)

    Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Kids Cooking Class Instructor to lead engaging cooking classes for children. The ideal candidate will have a love for culinary arts, experience working with children, and the ability to create a fun and educational environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement age-appropriate cooking lesson plans that encourage creativity and hands-on learning.
