Introducing Baobab

All of the kids are sick and it’s exhausting. For those of us with kids in school, it definitely feels like the kids are getting sick more often than they used to.

We believe that nature holds the key to unlocking all things related to our health and wellness. That’s why this week we are focusing on immune boosting recipes. First up is a tasty faux sorbet recipe using one of my favorite ingredients—baobab!

Baobab comes from the baobab tree that is native to Africa and Australia. The pulp, leaves, and seeds are made into powder form that is widely consumed and which we know as baobab powder. Baobab powder is a healthy addition to your baby’s diet. Baobab is said to contain ten times more vitamin c than oranges. Additionally, it promotes fullness, which is great if you are on the road with your little one. Studies have also shown that baobab may slow the absorption of sugar in the bloodstream. Baobab is also high in fiber, which will help greatly with your baby’s digestion. To learn more about the importance of your baby’s digestion, visit us at our site: Little Cocoa Bean Co.! (Source)
